On the editorial "No flattery"

President, I agree with all your statements on the editorial "No flattery", but one. Truly do you believe that, beyond the fact that to live in stiffer societies –I do not know for certain if this would be the word, but I am sure that do you understand where I am going– where ypuyh drove with more strongness their life, things were easier thirty or forty years ago? I always have been admiration with that youth that broke some “barriers”. It is certain that to broke some of them implies a greater responsibility, more owes, surely, that rights, but some owes “of another class”, more based on the own liberty, in the capacity of election. I do not know what should be more difficult, if to break some social models that came from old or to live together in a framework of liberty when, at the same time, there are many elements that endanger this liberty in name, exactly, of the liberty. Today, I believe that still we should break those old models. The present day youth have the capacity to choose. Our parents, did not. Either they broke the model, or either they continued it.

On the editorial "No flattery"

It is an endemic problem that afects all the present society, what reflects President Pujol on the editorial "No flattery". That does not affect only to the youths. Worrying in my opinion, because it requires a difficult solution. Today it is complicated, to say not impossible, to obbey the social owes. The information, interested and manipulated, that arrives us from different media 24 hours a day, among others factors, represents a difficult and an important reef to surpass for those who believe that to defend our rights implies to comply our owes. The solution to the youths incivism, to their problems, cannot be resolved by the creation of more norms, more policemen, etc., that also. In my opinion, as in the health, it is recquired a preventive action.

Until the year 1995 the growth was over the Spanish average, in the following years it is delaying and this year recovers the same rhythm that the average of the State.  It is especially important that the forecasts for this year 2006 pass for an improvement of the exports, that may arribe at the 5,1%.

The natural therapies regulation
The department of Health prepares a decree with the aim to order the acupuncture and the related natural therapies, the nudists, the manuals and the homeopathy.  According to a study of the School of Pharmacists of Catalonia, the 67% of the sick chronic people resort to these therapies.  The decree is criticised by the doctors because permits to do diagnoses to people with special qualifications.

Les jeunnes européens et leurs valeurs

During the years 1981, 1990 and 1999, the Institute National of the Jeunesse et de l’Éducation Populaire has carried out some surveys on values among the youths from 18 to 29 years, in the countries of western and oriental Europe. The frequency of the surveys permits to detect some general tendencies, but very qualified, attending the differences among countries. As it summarizes in the final conclusion Olivier Galland, one of the responsibles of the study, the image of the youth from the generation of tensions of the decade of the sixty, with values opposite to the stablished culture and to the adult generation and very critic with their society model, has gone disappearing. The present European youths (1999) are, in general, less politicized, less compromised in political, union or ecological movements, more identified with local or regional environements, more individualistic and more liberal in the private, but more rigorous morale in the public morale and of respect to the authoritt. Tthey show a growing tendency toward a religiousness, understood more as a spiritual disposition that not like a formal practice, and men and women share each time more values, specially those realted with the couple and the family. Galland questions if in the future, these tendencies will bring toward some higher levels of individual moral permissiveness, and a stricter demand of regulation of the public life.
