Social welfare according to Jordi Pujol
Social welfare must be channelled in two ways:
- In services that must be offered to the population as a whole
- In the attention that must be provided to those sectors with special care needs
Growth and technological progress can have no place, or will even become absurd, if they are not at the service of the people. All policy must serve progress, and all progress must be concretised in specific things and people.
Genuine ersonalist humanism must fulfil the personal aspirations of each and every one of its citizens.
Healthcare, culture, education, sport and leisure are all parts of social welfare, mutual trust, and a collective future.
